At MeruMhor we have over 30 years’ experience owning, working, breeding, showing, and caring for our own dogs. We have only one aim - to provide our customers with a good choice of quality products for their pets.

We started Raw Feeding in 2003 with our German Shepherd Meru, she was a fussy eater and suffered from digestive problems from an early age, however all these issues disappeared very quickly when we started to feed her a healthy, natural, raw diet or "BARF Diet" as some will know it as.

As Breeders ourselves we know the importance of diet and strive to source only the best natural products from premier and award-winning UK suppliers. Which in turn we believe gives the best possible range and choice for our customers and of course to our healthy, happy, and content cats and dogs, which after all is what it's all about.

From our experience, we have witnessed significant improvements to the health and vitality of all our dogs, all of which have made the transition to a biologically appropriate raw diet. The feedback from our customers shows all manner of uncomfortable skin, coat, teeth, and joint conditions as well as long standing problems relating to digestion, breath and aggressive behaviour have been resolved with their pets fed on the raw diet. It is after all, what your dogs and cats are designed to eat.

The problem with cooking & processing food

Cooking and processing food greatly reduces the amounts of essential active enzymes, vitamins and fatty acids found in a raw diet. Many animal foods contain up to 70% wheat and other fillers, which can be difficult to process. These two facts mean modern mass-produced foods are not compatible with a healthy diet for cats and dogs.
